The Community Abundance Project is a joint project between Savour Soil Permaculture, the Lockyer Valley Regional Council and Laidley Better Business. We are regenerating the understory of Lions Park in Laidley by turning it into a public food forest.
Together, we have organised a workshop event (Food Forest: Tao of Ecological Repair) and a group planting and exploration (International Permaculture Day 2015) at the park and have been inspired by the enthusiastic response. I hope there are many more days like these!
